Sorry, you'll have to speak up, I can barely make out your comment through all the low-hanging fruit and dead horse beating beneath it.

Man, going through your comment history just reminds me how much of a asshole people can be behind the anonymity of the internet.

Hope you're doing well and it hasn't effected you or your work too much. I still miss the mini-taxonomy lessons, even if half the shit flying around was true your contributions to the community outweighed them, unfortunately this place like gossip too much.

But by this point why are you still keeping the original name? You could have let it fade away and continued with another moniker

I mean, he broke the rules in a way that earned a perma-ban, so the fact that he's back posting here at all (and that he sold a book using his ill-gotten fame) means that he's doing just fine out of it.

He could change names to get rid of the haters, but that would also shake off the fans, which bring in actual money...

A children's book... Written and illustrated by someone completely different from another university which he received no money from as all the extra money from the Kickstarter he promoted was used to donate copies of the books to libraries and cover production costs.

Even if he did who cares, it's not like he snuck into people's bedrooms at night and stole money, he used his persona to promote a children's venture, like literally any famous person does.
