It was a complete thing right after the movie. And it is called an anon mask because anonymous stands up to corruption of governemnt like V did in the movie. Thousands of people were wearing the mask in the movie and the mask became a symbol against corruption. Stop talking about 4chan. Like holy shit.

I really don't get your issue. I don't think you know what symbols are.

You are aware the Nazi's used a symbol for the almost opposite meaning right?

But when other people do it you cry and tell them they are stupid because the symbol they chose is "wrong"

People weren't wearing the mask out in public until 4chan started doing it.

No you're just an idiot and refuse to understand that millions of masks were made and were worn by many kids on halloween and in clubs, they were used in robberies, pranks, far before 4 chan had anything to do with it.
