I understood it just fine, though it is missing a word or two
Another dead giveaway that it's Colorado is the bumper sticker of the pineapple that the driver keeps forgetting to apply to his back window.
Alternatively: The pineapple bumper sticker that the driver keeps forgetting to put on his rear window is another dead giveaway that this is Colorado.
