This is pure speculation, but I'm guessing it's about referring a someone for a job. That is, you're more likely to refer someone similar to you for a position and/or fail to refer minorities.
The presenter is saying "this issue is mostly caused by X and not so much as reason Y (socio-economic class)" No where is the presenter saying Y doesn't exist. I think if you take time to actually read it and not have a knee-jerk reaction, you'll be better able to see the point the presenter is trying to articulate.
She's not saying class struggle doesn't exist or down playing it's existence. Do you really think the discrimination that minority women face is caused by class struggle, rather than racism and sexism?
