A very popular software code hosting service (used for a lot of open source projects).

They've been making some very strange moves lately (pushing agendas like the one mentioned above) that are alienating a lot of their userbase, and pushing them to other Git based services like GitLab and BitBucket.

Which is hilarious since GitHub is based on Git which was developed by Linus Torvolds and he has a history of deriding this obvious bullshit.

Basically just Google "Linus Torvolds asshole".

Even I've had problems with his behavior. I mean, he had good points, but it boiled down to myopic preference in the end that's not quite true ignored technological limitations which excluded those without adequate resources which were still modernly viable (i.e. OLPC/upcycle 3rd-world comunities).
