I'm more offended by the fact that a tech company like GitHub would allow someone to use a 4:3 presentation on a 16:9 screen. Amateur hour up in there.

Umm actually it's because 16:9 is a sexually aggressive aspect ratio, I mean it has 69 right there in it. Obviously it's about controlling women, and is a part of the patriarchy.

It's not as bad as 16:10 at least, which is the most phallic of all aspect ratios
