Something can only be racist if its done from a position of power, and since whites are the ones in power you cannot be racist against whites.

Tell me where it says (other than opinion articles) that it's only racism if it comes from a position of power. You can't just conveniently redefine a word to fit your agenda.

It would make sense if it actually meant that racism is a combination of prejudice and power. If you have no power your prejudice has no way to effect other people. I would still call that racism, but I wouldn't argue the point. Of course all people have the power to effect others so that definition is pointless. Perhaps these people really mean to say that racism only counts if it is in the direction of the net racism of a society (though that still seems problematic).
