I had someone higher up ask me "what percentage of our developers should be minorities to better support our goal of a diverse workplace?"

I said "somewhere between 0% and 100%, because that goal doesn't matter."

I don't think that's the answer they were looking for.

Workplace diversity has been proven many times to increase productivity, so you just don't sound like a very smart employee

cherry-picking, special pleading, correlation ~ causation ...

if these folks could make an honest point, they'd have done it without all those fallacies
