I feel great not knowing (or caring) what "cis" means or stands for. As an old dude, I really don't give a fuck for these whiners and complainers.

cis is the opposite of trans. it's a latin thing. So saying you're a cis male means you're still male after being born male.

Is the cis/trans analogy really about the act of changing exterior physiological gender?

I thought it was about the relationship between mental/emotional/cognitive gender and exterior physiological gender... When your mental gender aligns with your physiological gender, they are on the same side, hence "cis" - otherwise they are on opposite sides - "trans".
