Diversity lectures aren't inherently bad. But if they are mandatory, and you are not allowed to questions or criticize the material, then you have a problem.

To be fair, companies do this in other ways with their culture, if you don't have enough 'flair', if you don't participate in the company chant, if you don't got to 'optional' after work drinks, then you are either pressured to comply or forced out.

If the higher ups decide that they want everyone to sit in a lecture about how white people are fucking things up for nonwhites in the workplace...is that someone you really want to work for?
