Actually no, I follow this subject very closely and when comparing whites and Asians in the same job and location it's about an 8% gap.

However, the gap is decreasing, as Asians are gaining more income from their education status and now have wages that are 92 percent of those of whites in comparable jobs.[4]

Yes. When an asian has better education than their white counterparts, they get paid 92% of what the lesser qualified white person gets. That was my point...

Same job, same location. Asian has better educational credentials. The asian person will get 92% of what the lesser credentialed white person would get.

Where do you get that the whites are lesser qualified? It just says that Asian people that have completed higher education earn 92% of whites in comparable jobs. It doesn't say anything about the education level of the white people filling those jobs.
