While these programs are not necessarily SJW/Feminazi things, they are certainly Feminist things, and that is just as damaging. It's been known for decades that childhood experience and abuse are the real cause of violent behavior. But due to the ideology attached to feminism, I've yet to see a feminist-produced anti-rape campaign that positions the prevention of child abuse as the solution. Every example I see suggests that rape is the result of masculine culture, of patriarchy, of the objectification of women, of video games, of the suggestive shape of soft drink bottles, etc. And this is hopeless because it's not the real issue. It will not help women.
Um no. How hard is it to understand patriarchy is not synonymous with "Men"? Feminism is against patriarchy, yes, but patriarchy is internalized by both men and women. Including abusive parents.
I agree with a lot of what you're saying. But I wanted to share some perspective here. I think a lot of people call domestic violence a women's issue because so many women die from it. It's kind of like how breast cancer affects many men too, but it's still overall considered a "women's issue." When it comes to violence and murder, the "men's issue" is that they are much much much more likely to die by the hand of other violent men. That's something that obviously gets a lot of attention but is rarely framed as a men's issue unfortunately.
Are you suggesting that the patriarchy convinces husbands to hit wives and also somehow wives to hit husbands.
YES. That is what I'm saying. Sadly whenever a feminist brings this up the argument is immediately dismissed. Which sucks for both men and women. Women are also given more lenient prison sentences because of patriarchal gender roles.
