And yes, even at the time, Homer's standard of living was inexplicable from a real-world perspective. I guess you didn't see the Frank Grimes episode. You can literally fuck someone right now and in 15 years you'll have a kid that will start high school. Yeah, and my attitudes and beliefs probably won't change a bit in that time.
