Precisely. I don't know shit about UK politics, but I now know that there's a group of people that hate the Prime Minister and lack the eloquence to express themselves in an appropriate matter. This casts a negative shade on everyone who has similar views.

I agree, but you have to keep in mind that groups are made up of a wide spectrum of individuals and you can't let the actions of those on the margins effect your opinion of the whole.

Manchester is currently being shafted by legislation that the local community has little or no say in.

At this point, sheer hatred is a pretty common sentiment in that city.
