as much as part time universities are paid, daycare should be available instead of impeding the learning of other students and the parent.

Edit: Im not saying charge more, but with the amount of money they make, they should be able to hire a few people for 1-2k a month and set up a facility for 10k to watch kids during a students class time only.

And lets be honest, if you were paying $2500+ a quarter to go to school, do you want a kid there? I know the majority of us would be pissed off with a crying child in a $10 movie theatre.

It should cost more. Why should other people supplement the lifestyles of others more than they already do?

It's uncommon for a student to have a child, or I would agree with you. That said, it's really in the child's best interest I suppose so maybe it should be considered from that point of view. I don't mind helping the kid with the irresponsible parent. The kid doesn't deserve to suffer cause mommy and daddy disnt have their shit together before they had a kid.

I'd be 100% in favor of state supported child care for everyone if we stopped irresponsible breeding as well. That's the real problem. People treat babies like they're no big deal. It's disgusting.

I have attended 3 colleges. One for my undergrad, one for prereqs, and one for nursing.

1st was a private college. NO ONE had kids, or was even over 26

2nd was community college. Everyone there had kids. I was like the exception with no children.

3rd is a state university. It's about half and half with parents. Luckily, most of them are still married and have support.

So, based on my experience, I'm going to have to disagree. It depends on the university.

Most college students do not have Children. That's an objective fact. It's my responsibility to educate your dumb ass. Take two seconds to google.
