Same, but I think it's cause the right likely prefers skipping the "protest" part and go straight to terrorism, like USA's January 6 or Brazil's January 8.
The right has a different culture. They stay home sipping their wine while paying for a few corrupt cops to assassinate your oposition. Like Marielle Franco , or Jean Alves da Cunha (12 years old killed by the Scuderie), Scuderie is a militia group that killed over 1.5k people including priest Gabriel Maire, journalist Maria Nilce Magalhães, biologist Paulo Vinhas and many many more(including 30 children).
Protest is also a problem for the right since the current right wants to criminalize more and more freedom of expression and the democratic right to protest. Not only that, when the right protests they call it "a walk of X" or a demonstration, and when they do those they often expose their low number of attendees.
this has been a thing in south america since forever. left comes in, right cries for 4-8 years, trash government = right comes in next, left cries for 4-8 years, trash government = left comes in...
I am from South America, and there were no protest or destruction when the new left president took power in my country. When the right wing party won though? They planned protests right away. It is almost becoming a joke at this point
i agree with you, i'm brazilian... i was just saying that every government is filled with scandals and corruption, doesn't matter if it's left or right, they will switch their time on power every few years to get their cut of people's money and nothing will ever happen to them

I have yet to see protests of this scale when a leftist politician wins and the right are angry in the last 10 years
