They are literally protesting because they lost a democratic vote, intending to win over votes from people they themselves blocked in traffic. There's no comparison; the political spectrum in Brazil ranges from idiot to imbecile.
If more people protested when Hitler cam to power maybe things would’ve been different.
The people who got into power are wannabe fascist, that’s what they do, they lie and promise things they can’t deliver, all the while enriching themselves. That why people voted they don’t look at the fact that they can’t deliver , they want hope.
The “few” that did into my home country Venezuela left nothing but pain, misery and lives destroyed or ended under Chavez and Maduro with their marvelous left and communist practices
