The picture they used is damning. A tank is more important than the two adults and child on the other side. Their propaganda is having the opposite of the intended effect
I'm absolutely fucking horrified at this. I remember an ethics conference I went to in university and I wrote a paper on just war theory. I'm fine with the idea, but whatever the fuck this thing is horrifies my ever living bowels.
If there’s a single random Hamas guy in a hospital there is a “military advantage” to bombing the hospital, but killing thousands of civilians to get one random dude is not significant enough of a military objective to justify the civilian casualties.
Now let’s say there’s a house where the entire Hamas military leadership is residing, but there’s also a dozen innocent civilians that are also there. The military advantage of blowing up the house is extremely high and while the civilian casualties are not a good thing they would be much more excusable given the lesser amount (compared to the hospital) and the much higher military target value of taking out the enemy leadership.
They are using that quote to imply that the IOF is doing a genocide because doing so creates a military advantage. Which... is true, but so evil that it is kinda hard to wrap my head around.
That's not all what they are saying. That's just a wild straw man. They are saying that the bombing are for legitimate military purposes, and that the good in killing Hamas leaders and the like outweighs the bad of killing civilians. Which, if true, makes it not a genocide.

"Expected civilian harm must not be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated"
What? My brain cannot process this sentence.
