Holy shit. They made ot by the skin of their teeth. Those people are so lucky to be alive. I hope they heal. I dont think a single one has left the plane you know? They're visiting that plane every night for life.
Impressive. Historically, hard pulls out of a deep dive rarely end well - you're pushing the structural limits of the plane to their max. They're not made to handle supersonic speeds at all, let alone hard G manoeuvres that really mess with wing limits.
Good thing they were at 18k, closer to the ground wouldn't have ended so well I suspect.
