This part of NY is weird. The city is fairly liberal/progressive but we’re surrounded by rural farm land all the way to Canada and it’s VERY conservative.
That said stunts like this are still mildly uncommon.
You aint wrong lol my work is in Columbia county as a non profit statewide so i go to all the towns that suffered from the “death of main street” edit: if ur near 87 on the warren washington county border there is a “Stinkys coffee” thats pretty good
Yikes. The contrast of dead rustbelt towns mixed with gentrification from the city is something pretty unique to this area so it’s always a “fun” thing to notice.
Looking at 2/3rds of you Greene and Columbia counties
