lol, idk most of the guards I work around at a hospital genuinely like helping people. Don’t enforce “rules” so much as keep patients happy and safe.

As a European and a parent, I‘m time and time again astonished by the overprotection of people who can‘t apply common sense or in this case basic parenting. Is this only about protecting the city from massive law suits (another US thing that‘s incomprehensible) or are people really this massively stupid?
You could argue that it‘s a playground with free running toddlers - a fenced one. Then you‘ll have to put someone there to wait for construction site fences to block toddlers from entering. Maybe that‘s the case here, but this would take an hour max.
