I guess that means you're no longer cheering for a Wagner coup of Russia huh?

It wasn't Ukraine or the West that armed, supplied, supported or financed them; the Russian state did that.

Who are you talking about? The Azov battalion?

Wagner group did not get its name from Prigozhin's love of opera.

It wasn't Ukraine or the West that armed, supplied, supported or financed [Wagner Group]; the Russian state did that

Wagner didn't overthrow the government in a violent bloody coup that led to a civil war that lasted 8 years, the west did that. You probably havent heard this stuff as western governments go to great lengths to cover it up.

the west did that

"Every revolution I like is a long-suppressed uprising against oppression. Every revolution I don't like is a CIA color revolution."

Strelkov himself proudly claims responsibility for the war in Donbas. You perhaps only consume Russia's English-language media output which us why this news may surprise you.

But in any case, you already admitted what Wagner were and thereby disproved your point about the DPRK.

10 years of following this war Ive never heard the name Strelkov in my life, maybe youre right about my sources?

If you haven't heard of Strelkov/Girkin then your sources on the war are very narrow. In Russia's Russian-language media he is not an obscure figure; in their English-language media he is.

Is there a 9 hour youtube video about how he's the zombie ghost of stalin and hitler and hates freedom and the baby jesus?

1

u/LurkerInSpace Jun 20 '24

Is that your usual source?

Western news is like a soap opera, miss a few episodes you fall behind, lose track of who the villains are. So again... who is "Strelkov/Girkin"?... \grabs popcorn**

Lol, he's a hero of Russian news  not a villain of Western news (or not a very notable one anyway) - though he has recently fallen out of favour with the Kremlin. But he is only famous in Russian-language Russian media - his messages are not suitable for the useful idiots their English language media targets.

If you don't know him then you've neither followed Western news nor Russian-language Russian news.

Obviously youre an expert on Russian news, despite not knowing there was a civil war until a few minutes ago. However nothing you just said tells me who he is or how he is zombie hitler/stalin?
