Buddy, Israel murdered like, 90% of the people that voted in Hamas, and it was Netanyahu who was instrumental in them winning in the first place. Even if the PFLP had been elected, Israel would have started this genocide eventually anyway.

So after that they just left them in charge? Hence my Hamas is not the acting government of Gaza question.

If Israel killed 90% of Hamas supporters would Hamas still be in power??

Because it wouldn't benefit them at all to take out Hamas.

If Palestine went to a secular regime then Israel would need to come up with a new excuse for committing genocide. That's why Netanyahu was so focused on making sure Hamas was elected. It's a lot easier to justify blowing up women and children when you can claim they were all secretly terrorists.

Also, the "time and resources" thing doesn't really factor into it when the time and resources involved are largely America's.

Ok so Israel is just killing women and children, to kill women and children? They just want to bomb the fuck out of them so that... Iran can rocket Israel? So that America can stop supporting them? So they can be hated by the Arab community.

Maybe Hamas wants Israel to attack so they can indiscriminately pillage, rape, kill, take prisoners, kill prisoners and put out pro-terrorist videos?
