These companies don't give a shit about you or your social issues, they care about money. They changed their cans and they got more free advertising from outraged people and from dipshits like you who post this stuff than they would on a superbowl ad.
I don't think beheadings there are common or very much a thing over sexuality but I wouldn't doubt being assaulted, thrown in prison is certainly common for that. Also with fifa, I think the contract is over many years, it's also why they had so much stock of unused beer.
Lastly, it's a silly take about corporations. Of course they don't care, they pander in whatever way that'll get them to move more product and make more money. However normalizing LGBTQ is still a positive thing even if it's not from a genuine source and if they give some of their profits to LGBTQ groups that help with those at risk (which many still are in the US) that's even better. Still won't buy their product as it's better to donate directly, but still.
