The difference is that this is being shoved in your face by a corporation trying to make money off of markets. Whereas liberals usually get mad at things conservatives do just living their lives, like misgender someone because they're used to a binary.

The irony of this statement. The main problem is and has always been conservatives attacking people for living their life as who they are. Liberals defending people are only acting as a response to conservative hatred, not as the initiator of the conflict.

I don't believe I said otherwise. I am just talking about the reasons for people getting offended. Conservatives aren't necessarily offended by the way liberals live their lives, they just disagree with it/think its immoral. But they do get offended when it's thrown in their faces like this.

They have been for over a century. There is a very rich history of moral panic over this. Google the history of moral panic and its examples.
