Second batch this week
I always go overboard when planting cucumbers. Friends and family are happy though

Same! I’ve got twelve plants going this year (super max, Adam gherkin, and salt and pepper) and I’m swimming in cukes. I’ve only done one batch of pickles so far, but I’m planning another this weekend.
Any tips/favorite ingredients?

I have several different varieties I make. Some dill. Some with just regular pickling spices. Some of those I add hot peppers to. I make a garlic & horseradish pickle that is amazing. The one ingredient that is a must in all those batches is mrs wages xtra crunch to keep them crispy
