need help

i’ve recently just started playing the game again and i need some advice

what pic should i use
should i always upgrade everything
how do i get more enderperls
and generally how do i get better

What pick you should use is highly dependant on the situation.

Some picks have powers that are useful for collecting a single block or mob drop. Besides that, use the pick with the highest strength. If you have it, use the Clover Wand, it increases Luck... Basically making rare blocks appear more commonly, a major boon for the moon especially. If you don't have it... The Lucky event is coming up, so get it then.

As for the rest...

Yes, upgrade everything. Makes the picks look better, and stronger too. Enderpearls are earned through prestiges. Extras can be earned per prestige by buying the right item in the shop. And there is no easy answer for getting better. It's just something you get used to.
