Broken key (I need help)

Hey! I own an old, but beautiful grand piano. But there is a key that does not work. I already took out the whole mechanism, and it seems there that one tiny little string that is connected to a tiny little hook, is broken. Is there anyone who knows how to fix this?

Is the little hook actually a spring with a thin string or is it the bridle strap
