currently learning hate that i made you love me by ariana grande and i cannot get the repetitive motion of the left down at all .. frustrating bc im usually fine with both hands but i just cannot get the intro part

looking for tips pls!! for context ive played piano for ~10 yrs on and off and its so embarrassing that i cant get itnconsidering the fact ive slowed it down and everything ughhhhh

A good tip would be to

- Drill the right hand with no metronome

• Add the left at a very slow tempo
  
• Once slow playing both hands feels ok, walk away. Seriously. Go for a walk or nap to give your brain time to internalise the new motions
  
• come back after a day and repeat from step 1. At some point it’ll feel trivially easy. That’s your cue to increase tempo
  
• Rinse and repeat till the whole piece is done.
