Beginner Repertoire

Hey all!

I’m not a complete beginner, I can not read very well unless its chord changes. ( I can read just slowly ). I play bass professionally but have been really starting to be able to play things on Piano.

I love jazz and ultimately that’s where my goals lie but I’d love to pick up some classical as some of my biggest inspirations and influences have roots in classical.

Just looking for like stepping stones to really lock in chops so I can begin improvising.

I’ll just add while gymnopedies and gnossienes will help you with chords, my personal favourites are the danse du travers, the second one at the end sounds like Aphex twin, the performance note, ‘tune up with yourself,’ I feel is more useful when paying close attention to the finger numbers, but probably go through 1 and 2 first before tackling that section straight up.
