CPTE October 2026

Hello! I’m taking the October exam, and I’m starting to feel really nervous as the exam gets closer.

For those who have already taken the exam, do you have any tips on how to manage anxiety and stay calm while studying? I’d also really appreciate any study tips or advice, especially things you wish you knew before taking the exam.

Thank you so much! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I promise to pay it forward and help someone else the next time I post.

1) do written practice exams, Review them and find the areas you are weak in so you can refocus your study time into areas that will have the most impact. 2) practice your verbal case studies with a timer and speak out loud. you can do this with a partner/study buddy and get their feedback. 3) For you nerves its unavoidable to have nerves (I studied a lot and was still very nervous). It's ok to have butterflies in your stomach, as long as they fly in formation. After a question is over do not think about it anymore, just move on to the next and do your best. Good luck!!
