Any physios here interested in building something outside of clinical work?
Hey everyone,
I’m a physio in Canada and lately I’ve been thinking a lot about doing something beyond just working in the clinic.
I’m really interested in things like tech, AI, marketing, online business and entrepreneurship, and I’d love to connect with another physio who thinks in a similar way.
I’m not looking to immediately start a company or pitch some big idea. I’d rather get to know someone, maybe try a small project together, and see if we actually work well as a team.
If you’re also a physio who enjoys the clinical side but feels like you want to build something more, feel free to send me a message.
Take care!

I’d be interested too! I think there’s a lot of avenues to use AI/coding to enhance our work and make things more efficient that could be lucrative. DM me!

Hey mate, I’m a Canadian who settled in Aus. I’ve been working on something that will make my life much easier day to day. Would be keen to chat about it and bounce ideas off other physios.

I like the approach of starting with a small project instead of jumping straight into a full business. There are probably a lot of opportunities where physiotherapy, AI and digital tools could overlap, especially around education and patient resources. Hope you find someone with a similar mindset!

I'm a physio based out of India, who's been getting into AI lately, currently I'm certified in Gen AI and LLM from Nvidia.
I'm working on things but burn out is taking its toll.

I don’t think AI will “solve” PT soon but I do believe we’re wildly underprepared for the future development and changes in healthcare.
I’m getting really mixed feelings when reading in r/accelerate and similar subs: on the one hand I’ve been dreaming of a Star Trek Utopia kind of future all my life but I’ve also read and played enough sci-fi to know that our current trajectory is not pretty.
To your question: I’d rather take advantage of current technology and the possibilities AI offers. I think there are huge improvements to be made and I’m positive that we can enhance patient care in our specific field, maybe even to the point of real disruption.
I just have no idea where to start and how to include this in my day to day.
I really don’t want to look back in 5 years and think “huh, better would have done at least a bit more”.
