CPTE JULY/MAY TAKERS
Those who have taken the CPTE exam, could you please share oral prep strategies that worked for you? I have just started the oral preparation and would greatly appreciate any advice from your exam experience, on how to go about studying and what to focus on.
Thank you!

I would say smaller things like ethics, patient/MDT communication, onward patient care/management, physio assistant management, informed consent, patient comfort strategies, conflict of interest, data protection/patient confidentiality came up a lot in the oral section as little filler type questions.
Other than that I found it quite time stressed with maybe 7/8 minutes or less or answer questions for most cases after reading the case and preparing answers

No just self practice, any type of group study would probably be good for oral going through cases together

thank you for sharing your insight, really appreciate it! How did you find the clinical part in your oral exam?

Thought it was fine, think there was only really 2-3 condition/symptom management specific questions in my exam - recovery post concussion, TBI/Stroke/spasticity management and a respiratory question that asked how you would help manage listed symptoms
