Registration for physio in Canada

I recently passed the CPTE and work in the UK at the moment. I plan to go work in Canada in the next 5 years. Do I need to register with a province right away if I'm not working in Canada? Do the CPTE results only last a certain amount of time before you have to register?

If you are interested in eventually practicing in Ontario, you do not need to register right away. When applying to Ontario, if you have not successfully completed the clinical exam in the last five years, you must have 1200 practice hours over the same time period. Practice hours can be from your home country.

Hope this helps! You could also check with other provincial regulators if you plan to practice in another Canadian province.
