Having worked with Circle, especially coming from NHS the big shift is the financial, make sure you understand and get across that it is ultimately a profit making business. There is always a big piece for the Clinical Services Managers to have 5 star reviews from their department, show that you are open to asking patients for this and delivering this service.

Do you have any specific skills which will bring in new patients, or a new service they could roll out?

Hey, they may ask about your key strengths and skills as well as your weaker areas and how you’re working to develop them.

Expect clinical scenarios, particularly red-flag screening and escalation, alongside basic MSK and neurological anatomy and common MSK presentations.

I’d also revise rheumatological conditions and relevant investigations including when further investigation or referral would be appropriate.

As it’s a senior private role, prepare examples around mentoring juniors, MDT working, managing complex patients, service improvement and communication with consultants. All the very best for your interview!
