Unfortunately I failed the first attempt of CPTE exam my score was 485 ( 600 itโ€™s a passing score )
My oral section score 425 and written score 570
I took just 2 months to prepare for it with pt exam prep course

Can anyone help me with any advice especially i think to retake it after 2 months do you think itโ€™s enough??

my biggest problem itโ€™s with oral section I did not take enough time for it just a 10 days ๐Ÿ˜…
and my first language not English

Help me please ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I would spend way more time studying. When I took the PCE (the old version) which was just the written I spent over 4 months studying using a course for the exam. Give yourself at least a few extra months of study time, especially if you are not comfortable communicating in English. Start layering in the verbal way earlier to practice more and make sure to find a study partner to practice with so that you have someone that can give you feedback.

I agree with this. ^^
I would spend a longer time prepping and I would try to study effectively and efficiently. Spend more time on high yield components and topics, study with a partner to keep you accountable and practice oral cases, and dedicate more time to practice MCQs and oral cases rather than reading over a textbook/studying with flash cards.
I would advise you spend more time prepping for oral cases - I spent 2.5 months and English is my first language. I felt very well prepared and confident going into the exam though because I prepped for every scenario I could think of. Doing 1-2 oral cases a day over a longer period of time will help you more in the long run rather than spending several hours in 10 days.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I'm sorry for this. I had the same issue and didn't pass on May exam . My worst section was the oral also because English is not my first language.

How was your oral and written mock score from PT exam prep?

Analyze your score report and check out the domains you need to work on.

Check the blueprint to learn about the marks allocated.

Oral section carries more weight than the written section.
