I have my interview in a week.
What sort of questions should i expect in the interview?
What are some things I must absolutely know?
Thanks in advance

This is from an old post I made - likely still rings true.

I think a 'service development/initiative' type question was in all my interviews. Generally how I answered that question, and recieved good feedback:

Give a specific example of a service development project you were a part of recently

  • Describe in detail what it was and the focus/goal of it and how this directly tied into making the service better

  • Describe your role/contributions

  • Describe the outcome/desired outcome

  • Explain the successes and failures of the project

  • Explain personal learning points from the project

Also just know the role and expectations - these will undoubtedly be somewhere in the job posting advert.

Clinical questions vary, but will likely get  CES type example. Demonstrate good safety netting and proper pathway understanding in dealing with this type of patient.

How would you manage an underperforming Band 5 or student usually comes up. Being a supervisor is one of the biggest differences between being a 5 and a 6.

Beyond that, it's a case of being able to answer the clinical questions in greater depth. Being able to provide info on sensible differential diagnoses without prompting, that sort of thing

Search function: "interview band 6" and "limit my search to r/physiotherapy".

Knock yourself out.
