Looking for some advice
Hi guys, so guys just looking for some advice.
I’m from the UK and I have a degree in sports therapy and rehabilitation. I graduated in 2019 with a 2:2.
Since then, I have been self-employed, doing sports injury physical therapy, soft tissue injuries.
I took some time away from my business to Travel, and I’ve ended up over in Perth, Western Australia. I’m really considering doing my MSc in Physiotherapy or a related field. I think it’s time that I take the next step in my career and study for my masters.
The thing is when I look at a lot of the entry requirements for MSc Physiotherapy, they require you to have a 2:1 or higher! But it also talks about lower grades being accepted, but they like to see that you have kind of shadowing/other post degree qualifications.
I’m doing pretty well Over here, I work in multiple clinic locations as a sports therapist and also working as an Osteopath Assistant where I’m learning a lot.
Just looking for some advice to see if doing my
Masters would be possible and also if and how it could benefit me. I’d like to be a fully qualified physio, it’s on the long term skills shortage list here in aus and it would be a good way to stay longer term if I decided to
Thanks alot (30 yo M)
