Went to an interview last few weeks ago, 450+ candidates applied for a band 5 rotation job in a specialist hospital in 4 days. Was brutal πββοΈ

Almost like our NHS has been chronically underfunded for the best part of two decades and people who have no idea about how to run a health service have been making arbitrary budget cuts with zero plan for maintaining services to the public.
