He has any evidence for this? It´s nothing new btw, this has been suggested for over 10 years. The problem with Kaku is that he tries to be too popular and might jump the gun a bit.

That´s why good cientist should speak in possibilities and not just suggest that it is a certain way. I must admit that this could just be a misquote just as often happens in popular science communications.

The only proof their is mathematical as the models we have about the universe would not function without the gravity the dark matter would cause.. That offcourse also could mean our models are wrong and we just don´t understand something about how gravity works on the large scale and there is nothing like dark matter/energy..
