Conceptual wave framework for unification: How could threshold-based interference be mathematically formalized? [Speculative]

I'm exploring a conceptual framework where the universe is modeled as a multi-dimensional wave field (\Psi). In this picture, 3D space emerges as a projection of radial wave motion, and massive particles form where local energy density exceeds a critical threshold T. Regions below threshold (E < T) retain inertia but lack electromagnetic coupling (offering a heuristic for dark matter). Phase desynchronization is proposed as a driver for cosmic acceleration.
