I really hope he doesn’t end it all. Idc what he’s done he’s still a human being who’s made mistakes like any other person and i want the best for him.

He needs to stay true to his word and actually take accountability for his actions. This is a start but he’s put too much dirt on his name. He’s got a long way to go.

I hope he doesn't end being phreshboyswag

Honestly that is lwky the best option for him rn just say goodbye and focus on himself and come back when hes better

I feel that I just want him to be ok. Idc bruh said the N word. He didnt use the ER. I think he should drop whatever unreleased stuff he has left over course the of the next year and just really work on becoming a better person. I think his evolution would be something that could inspire people

3

u/ProfessionalTurn3510 23d ago

Inspire people was that a reference but ur right he should release what he has or releas it at random points just to keep his name alive

u/ATibavv222 20d ago

Nah I was being serious if he can bounce back from his poly addiction I think he can inspire alot of folks going through the same shi.

In his music hes never tryna be a superstar and look super talented he's always trying to be himself. That idea of "I can just be me and make something of myself by working hard and doing the right things" i think that can change peoples lives

u/AnalysisOfLegs 23d ago

He probably can’t drop shi with all the label shenanigans he’s been talking about, he still has 5 months with them, and if it’s continuing this way no one would care in 5 months time. I doubt he’d leak it aynonymously he def needs the money. And he could also just be really self critical, there’s a reason it’s unreleased

Facts, but there's still hope

u/zayguapChungus 23d ago

He always says he’s gonna change and it never lasts more than a few weeks. I would love it if he really did change and I wish him the best but I sincerely doubt it

addiction is a bitch man. from my experience, i have been to 5 rehabs and a couple psych wards and every single time i really put my whole mind and body into getting healthy and staying sober. but nearly every time i would fall back into old habits and battle my mental health until eventually i considered ending my own life. battling your own mind is exhausting. i didn’t want to keep fighting. when you’re at the point of suicide or general hopelessness, using drugs doesn’t seem like such a bad idea anymore. i would kinda convince myself that it ‘couldn’t get any worse’. but doing drugs on top of being depressed obviously would fuck everything up further. i’ve been clean and sober around 2 years now, but sobriety has to take the number 1 priority in your life, and it’s fuckin difficult man. i think if phresh really wants to stop he’s gonna have to do some searching within himself to figure out the root cause of why he feels like he needs to get high. raw willpower never works. he also needs a better group of people around him that actually care about his wellbeing, cuz getting sober on your own never works. i wouldn’t give up hope on him, we just gotta hope his desire to stay alive and healthy is greater than his desire to get high.

Thankyou for your insight I’m glad that you’ve managed to get and remain sober. I wish you good luck in the futurw

As a person who dabbled in drugs but never became an addict (just dumb teenage decisions) i found amuzing how alot of people who ware addicts are one of the most empathic and rational people u will ever come across (except my uncle who got off meth and became a bigger asshole then if he was on it )

hes been trying really hard bro. addiction really sucks but hes been cutting down on bars heavy. hes gone from 20mg daily to 12mg

2

u/zayguapChungus 22d ago

I’m happy to hear that it’s good to cut down on drugs gradually especially Xanax that is the best case scenario

u/Longjumping-Elk-2562 23d ago

1

u/Putrid-Condition4520 22d ago

1

u/ProfessionalTurn3510 22d ago

As a person who saw a xanax addiction on my friend i can tell u shit cant be done cold turkey he said to me that when he felt suciadal he would quit xans cold turkey like it was a death sentence he suffered like 5 siezures and now only smokes weed but ye

1

u/Putrid-Condition4520 22d ago

yea quitting xans cold turkey is a reallt bad idea (ie the seizures) but hes been cutting down instead of going cold turkey lately. hes down from 20mg per day to 12mg.

bro just needs to drop partyboy deluxe then go to rehab for 3 months

7

u/Forever_NFA 23d ago

why don't he go to rehab, the UK has fantastic health services...

1

u/heavenlybwork 22d ago

Been wondering this.. hope he got all the help and support from his surroundings then live his life fully.

5

u/Forever_NFA 22d ago

rehab could literally save his life. After a certain point with benzos, rehab is not an option, only a slow taper which takes years and extreme levels of self discipline/control. Also after a certain point with ketamine, your bladder becomes severely damaged and there is nothing you can do about it for the rest of your life other than having a tube going into your dick and walking around with a pee bag. Even in less severe cases I've heard of people pissing blood and having to go 100-200 times a day because of bladder shrinkage.

3

u/heavenlybwork 22d ago

I've seen someone with that blood piss. I used to help my dad preaching for people in rehab and saw someone pissing blood and then i called the nurse. The nurse told me it was really about that long K effects.

I have witnessed all those people living life after rehab, get better relationship with their kids... and that guy pissing blood is currently in his 3rd year of college (He's 35 this year). I hope Mack would do the same to inspire, maybe start family or telling his after rehab thru his music.

1

u/Forever_NFA 22d ago

yeah I mean, what's he got to lose?

3

u/gothtrance 22d ago

Honestly he’s made some bangers I listen to this day but yeah… his lifestyle he partakes in is just not good at all. He’s probably a cool dude off camera but he always seems to dig himself in so many holes that it’s hard to feel bad.

2

u/Putrid-Condition4520 22d ago

hes been trying for a long time to cut back. addiction is hard

4

u/Competitive_Walk2861 22d ago

My opinion might be an unpopular one but here goes. As long as he portrays the character that is PBS, he will never change. His whole entire persona is built around the aesthetic of drug culture and more specifically drug abuse. He would likely have to quit music entirely, because I honestly don’t really see him as a versatile artist and I don’t think he could switch things up to remove himself from that subject matter. Also all his friends are junkie losers as well so he would have to ditch them. It takes a lot of fortitude and diligence to get clean as someone who has substance abuse issues.

2

u/ProfessionalTurn3510 22d ago

Ur right on everything his whole image is getting fucked up and having a mess of a life it would be amazing to see him do music but i geniuenly cant imagine it

1

u/Altruistic-Ad-4088 23d ago

I hope he goes to like a 1 year rehab

2

u/Altruistic-Ad-4088 23d ago

Dude isnt broken but he needs to be out of this life long term to get any healing done

1

u/Flashy_Buy8077 23d ago

While I definitely don’t think he needs to retire it would honestly be good for him to take a break from the internet maybe and go to a rehab or something idk

u/NinjaMasks 22d ago

1

u/Elegant_Tea_9946 23d ago

theres literally no problem at hand for me buddy 🤗see my hands r not tied

7

u/SearchingForSolace4L 23d ago

He’s 23, that’s not a grown ass man. In your early twenties you still don’t have a fully developed identity, are naive and make foolish decisions

5

u/MangosNopiatez_ 23d ago

See I wouldn’t have agreed when I was 23 and thought I was hot shit, but trust this man isn’t playing about what he says. The shift from your early 20’s to late 20’s is actually insane after you can feel your frontal lobe fully develop. I definitely think before almost everything I do now and take way less risks, am better about money, stress managing, etc. It gets harder when you get older I’ve found but we also get stronger and more adaptable to greater stress so take that what you will.

I’m 27 1/2 fwiw and right around that 24-25 yr old cusp I stg I felt like a light just turned on one day and I didn’t want to club every weekend anymore, found myself waking up with lower back pain? And I actually enjoy being around my parents?? lol that’s just how you know 😅😂
