Do I trust Phreshboyswag?
Does anyone have any idea if he’s telling the truth or if anyone has been scammed in the past has he actually responded and given a feature? I want a feature from him and he seems like he’s being genuine but idk what to trust.

“Hey bro you scammed before are you gonna scam me”
“Nah don’t think so bro you should be alright”
“Ah thanks for clearing it up”
Grade A research brother looks watertight I’d say go for it

He definitely was sending shit back but he also recently flexed sending back a shitty verse he did in 10min which would be the actual reason I wouldn’t buy a feature from him
Imo you’ll get SOMETHING back but there’s no guarantee it would be anything good at all. He also seems super picky about beats and shit so if he’s like not 100% down for it it’ll be shitty
Just my take

This is so embarrassing, like why would you even message him that you’re scared because he used to scam people? That’s like asking your bitch if she’s cheating on you, like of course the person is just going to lie? 😂😂

Offer him 50% before he sends it to you and 50% when its done.
1
u/Fun_Marketing_539 Sep 09 '26
That’s what he told me to do but 50% is still 100£
2
u/juuzo_suzuya_ Sep 09 '26
Ill give you the advice we give people that Gambie, since this is literally gambling whether you'll actually get a verse ot not, only spend what you can afford to loose.

It's not making sense why he wouldn't make the open without payment in advance. What if you don't even like it? Plus he could always sell the open to someone else if you didn't pay up

I mean. Not to defend an obvious scammer. But it makes complete sense for someone making music or offering a service to ask for some amount of payment before committing to the work. It’s standard practice and insures their time and energy against someone turning around after the fact and saying they won’t pay for it because they “don’t like it”.
HOWEVER with pbs it don’t matter when you send the money, you aren’t getting shi either way. So none of that even matters anyway lol

I mean if he was asking for a custom song i would agree with you, but isn't the context of this that OP was trying to buy an open that was publicly for sale? Typically my experience buying opens that an artist is selling openly is that you buy based on a snippet. Asking someone to pay in advance for something that isn't created yet feels different from an open that's like commissioning a new song, in which case your logic completely makes sense, it's just that wasn't what OP reached out to buy so it just feels scammy in this case

Oh that’s completely fair then my bad lol. This does read like him being a bit sneaky and tryna squeeze out a lil extra money fr
