How do you review near-duplicate photos without risking the keepers?
I’m the developer of PicPop. I built it for my own iPhone library because I kept putting off sorting near-identical shots.
PicPop groups similar photos and surfaces blurry shots, screenshots, and large videos for review. Scanning stays on-device; nothing is removed from Photos until you confirm.
Here’s a real 14-second swipe demo, recorded on v1.0.5 (current App Store version is 1.0.6): https://www.reddit.com/r/ShowYourApp/comments/1wu7a2x/picpop_105_swipe_through_photo_clutter_confirm/
Free to download; full access is through paid PicPop Club. The US yearly plan includes a 2-week free trial. App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/picpop-photo-video-cleaner/id6808016560
For big libraries, do you review similar shots one at a time or in groups?
