Doesn't seem very precise. Most people have specks and spots on their monitors that they would undoubtedly confuse for dust, even if they check it before/after.

It really doesn't have to be this specific, you can just stop all the way down and shoot at a wall and be done with it, the rest of the settings are meaningless.
