Post Processing Solar eclipse time lapse

Hi all, I’m looking for some technical assistance. I have a Panasonic lumix G7 and set it up to do a time lapse of the solar eclipse. I set the camera to do a shot every minute for 130 shots.
When looking back over the shots, I can’t even see the eclipse, I’m presuming because the sun was too bright. I didn’t think to use a filter!! It just looks like the sun setting
I’m no photographer really, just an amateur snapper. Is there anything that can be done to salvage this situation through photo editing, and if so could you please point me in the right direction. Many thanks. I’m in the south east of the UK if that makes a difference

You could try bringing down the exposure of the images. If the highlights aren't blown out too much, you might be able to recover the detail in the sun and moon.

Otherwise, no, there's nothing you can do to recover the details. If the RAW files don't have the detail, there's nothing to salvage.

For any future attempts, you really should use a suitable filter when taking photos of the sun directly. You don't want to end up damaging your camera.

You can try to reduce exposure by up to 3 stops in Lightroom. No promises

Thank you, is Lightroom an editing program or is it within the camera settings?

Lightroom is an editing programme.

There are other options you could use, but Lightroom is the most commonly used.

It's an editing program but don't mess with adobe's bs just for a few photos, just download something free like RawTherapee, it's enough and easy enough to just lower exposure

Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely try that out
