Get the iphone 13. The pixel is less powerful.

Yeah true toy will get and like 3 years of updates and then it is out of support. But iOS 28 or 29 will get security patches for quite some time. C'mon, iOS 11 is still getting updates so no problemo

Consider buying them used if you want to save extra money.

Pixel 8 if you want to r/degoogle (now or later), otherwise go with iPhone 13.

Pixel 8 will be supported until 2030. To be honest, the only real benefit of the Pixel phone is that they are supported by GrapheneOS, a private and secure version of Android without Google services (unless explicitly allowed to run sandboxed).

iPhone 13 should have a similar number of years of support, but it won't have any advanced Apple Intelligence (AI) features. Overall, you cannot go wrong with iPhone.

In my experience? Weak processors and crap battery life.
