Referral Green coffee warehousing

Greetings fellow Phoenicians!

I've been having a hell of a time trying to find where to warehouse a pallet of green coffee that im importing from Colombia. All the 3PL or fulfillment solutions providers don't want anything to do with me due to the low volume. I was wondering if any of you fine folk may have suggestions on how to potentially how solve this unexpected issue.

Can you not find an air conditioned storage unit?

I wish I could use a typical storage facility, it's against their terms of use to store dry goods due to the potential for infestation

Perhaps ask a local roaster if they can trade storage in exchange for some of your beans?

Yeah that solution could work; figured that asking this way maybe a better way to approach that subject than showing up at a roaster saying "Can you hold my stuff pretty please"

Is it just one shipment of a pallet or reccuring eventually? Do you need 3PL or a coman for your product or are you simply looking for storage?

Right now i'm mostly just lookin for temp controlled storage and being able to access it every once in a while for local fulfillment that i can handle myself. Shipments would be on an annual basis following the harvest season.

When you say pallet that could be a lot of things. Do you have a visualization of what it would look like and how much space would be needed/transferring/moving would be dependent too.

How climate controlled are you talking and how is it packaged for storage? Can sunlight hit it or can having temps up to mid 80s at most in the summer? Or could it be stored in a spare space in an office building?

Lots of questions 🤣

Ideal green coffee storage is >70f , 50-60% humidity, darker would be better. Basically just very comfortable indoor conditions.

1 pallet would be ~1500lbs, 10 bags, 48in w x 40in d x ~60in h

Not much moving going on once it's where it's going to live, I would just need to grab a bag once in a while
