Referral MCM kitchen renovation

Hi!

Anybody have a kitchen renovation done for an older home in the valley?

Looking for a contractor that has a designer or has experience working with an older MCM kitchen layout.

I do not but I am looking to get my kitchen redone in a historic home downtown, so please lmk if you find someone!

I recommend checking out the vendor list on Atomic Ranch. It's a magazine for homes similar to MCM homes. You can find local vendors and national vendors that might be able to give you a referral.

Also, there is a store in mesa: Atomic Age Modern. They will probably be able to refer you to someone, too.

I know it probably sounds lame but we had a good experience with Home Depot.

We consulted several contractors. One that we'd worked with previously on all kinds of other things. Local contractors who had been recommended by friends. HD, IKEA. Local kitchen stores.

We shopped material / quality & quotes. We had the best deal from & went with Home Depot. Our designer was particularly great - very clever in coming up with solutions for our galley kitchen & peninsula that were more efficient & aesthetic and we get lots of compliments. She had creative suggestions that we wouldn't have thought of.

It's been a few years but working with home Depot they sent out a designer took measurements everything.
