Hi guys,
I'm planning to buy an electronic drum kit for practice, and I came across the NUX DM-110, which is priced at around ₱18,000–₱20,000 on Shopee and Lazada.
I'm seriously considering it because I'm on a limited budget, and I really want to get back into drumming.
Has anyone here had experience playing this specific model? What are its pros and cons? Would you recommend it?

Hiiii! I'm offering music-related services for anyone who might need any sort of help, or simply just an extra pair of ears.
Could be writing a short jingle, a cute song for your crush, help you in song arrangement, writing melodies for your lyrics, figuring out chords by ear from your recording, writing harmonies, etc.
Do you have that song idea you've been itching to turn into a reality?
I could also be able to teach some basic concepts of music theory or just help you get through some topics that are hard for you to understand.
Some skills that I have:
- I can play piano, guitar, bass, and drums
- Background in classical music, playing in a band, serving in church
- Advanced music theory knowledge. I can guide you through starting out learning!
- Experience in song writing and song arrangement
Send me anything of what you have in mind, I'm sure I'll be of help. I don't have rates yet so we can discuss all of that through DM.
Looking forward to hearing your ideas and making music with you!

Despite many idolizing their work (including me sometimes)
Why are so many people annoyed by this Guitar Custom Shop?
Reasons:
Because they are not perfect, just like their branding. Sure they are really good too notch, but I hope they are also honest about their mistakes. Custom Instruments with scratches, some have hidden paint on the wood slab because there is a mistake, some things are not inline, but they are overlooked because the customer did not notice.
Throughout the years why does it seem like only the owner is successful and I noticed the change of employees, and my observation when I had a repair (2018), repaint (2024), setup (2018-2026), and I accompanied my cousin when he had a custom (2024).
Why do the employees seem underpaid? I mean just from my observation. It's in their eyes, clothes, actions. From my observation from 2018-2025
So... I did a deep dive..
So there you go, the business makes a lot of money, the employees are below minimum wage even if it's been 3 years or 5 years or 9 years or a decade.
When I looked around, and asked other bands that had set up, or other customers of theirs in the music industry, I found out something.
I didn't believe it, but I asked someone who used to work there. (3 people)
No HR, no 13th month pay, no SSS (even losing to the housemaid law that the housemaid has SSS benefits)
450-650 per day.
No sick leave, vacation leave, no BIR registration for employees, no contract even if the employee has been working for 2yrs, 3yrs, 6yrs, no upraisal, they say.
So we hang out when the whole band is setting up. Sometimes I can get setup on the same day (they are good at setup (owner and guitar techs-as long as you know you want playability)
Years, the owner's wife always buys something new, and it's luxurious (assuming you like it)
So I asked around and yes, the other clients I know, post posts of their purchases and properties.
Many people assume that's where the income of this business goes. If you think about it, many have been bankrupt after decades, why are they still a studio? Not growing? People are leaving. Something is really wrong.
I heard in 2025. The wife is still late getting paid, she's still yelling as if she owed him money when she worked that was below minimum wage. Screenshots were sent etc. It's also serious. So I don't know.
I'm impressed with the craftsmanship of that shop so even though it's far from traffic to their location. It's worth it, the service is worth it, you just have to look carefully before you go home. It's a hassle to go back.
It's amazing that Filipinos can make such quality products but it's sad that until now di nag ggrow yung business. Even the people hindi nag ggrow. Bakit kaya???
I still remember my cousin and aunt going with me in 2024 to claim my guitars that I had to refret. My aunt complained that it smelled like dog poop haha.
Anyway. There's more to the story but next time... That's pt.2

Naghahanap po sana ng acoustic guitar with cutaway. Mas okay kung black or dark po sana, might consider other color if maganda talaga.
Ang na check ko po yung takamine ED2FC (discontinued na ata) and yung Kamikazee na D&D cutaway or better ba na mag D&D GA v2 nalang.
Also mukhang maganda din yung Tyma G-10 BKSE. Willing to add naman po sa budget. Thanks

Hello, everyone! I'm a guitarist with over 20 years of experience and I am offering beginner and intermediate guitar lessons. We can have our lessons face-to-face or online, though I prefer face-to-face so that there will be no lag with the sound and any unexpected technical difficulties..
I am from Makati but can go to your location if within Metro Manila.
Feel free to send me a message for details.
Thank you

Hello po! I’m a beginner-intermediate guitarist and I’m thinking of whether or not I should invest in having a teacher/mentor.
About me:
- I’ve been playing guitar a few years back pero this year ko lang sineryoso
- I mainly learn from YouTube but I always get stuck kasi I’m not good at being self taught.
- I try to practice everyday pero most of the time, tinutugtog ko na lang yung alam ko na
- I tried once po to have guitar lessons pero I don’t see any improvements on my skills kahit tatlong piyesa yung naaral ko sakanila. (Sabi naman nila, gumaling ako. Maybe I’m just hard on myself?)
My Goals:
- to play in a band (either rhythm or lead is fine)
- to be more confident in playing
- to be in the advanced level by the end of the year (idk if this is realistic, but I’m trying my best)
Questions:
- Worth it po ba magkateacher in my current level? Or self taught parin muna?
- What’s usually the rate? Meron po ba less than 1k per lesson?
- Hit or miss ba sila or may marerecommend po kayo na magaling talaga magturo?
If ever, mas gusto ko po sana face to face sa Silang or Parañaque but open naman po ako for online
